fabric guide

We start with the yarn and knit our own fabrics to create a truly special product. Below are some of our proprietary fabrics that give our clothes their signature feel, durability, and comfort.

8 ounce 100% cotton jersey

Our signature fabric is knit with 100% cotton, extra thick, 12-singles yarn. The resulting jersey is over 8.0 ounces per square yard (osy) even before washing and drying. The final product is a true heavyweight cotton fabric you can find in most of our best selling styles.

HEmp & organic cotton

Hemp yarn in its raw form has a natural color and texture we love. This is blended with organic cotton in our Striped Hemp Crew Neck. The fabric is very lightweight, very breathable, and softens over time.

Viscose Hemp is a polyester alternative, plastic free and produced using hemp or bamboo. Also blended with organic cotton, it creates a soft, breathable, and drapey shirt.

100% cotton French Terry

French Terry is characterized by it's looped interior yarn and a flat outside weave. All the thousands of small loops create insulating air pockets while maintaining breathability. Lighter than fleece but more robust than a shirt.

100% Cotton Fleece

Nearly all of the fleece available today is imported and blended with 20-50% polyester - making ours a rare breed. We make a heavy, 14.0 ounce, 100% US grown cotton fleece. Expensive to make, labor-intensive, and hard to source - we think it's worth it.

100% cotton thermal

We knit our thermal with a unique "Raschel" pattern. Instead of a waffle, the diamond shape allow for improved stretch across the width while minimizing the fabric losing shape over time. Insulating yet breathable.
